37 and 38 Weeks

I was doing so well updating every week... then I got behind, and preparing for our little guy started to take up all my free time.  However, I wanted to get at least one last update in before he arrives.

Size of Baby: According to babycenter.com he is about 6.8lbs and 19 1/2 inches long!  We had an ultrasound a week and a half ago, and they said he was weighing about 6lbs 5oz.

Maternity Clothes: That's pretty much all I can wear.  All my shirts are officially too short.

Gender: It's a BOY!

Belly Button In/Out: It is officially out... ugh!

Stretch Marks: Thankfully none so far... heres to hoping they stay away!

Labor Signs: I had a bunch of Braxton Hicks contractions yesterday.  We were afraid he would make an early appearance, but so far no real contractions that I know of.

Movement: He is moving a lot still, but I can tell he is running out of room.

Sleep: According to Patrick I have started snoring... it doesn't bother me, but I think I keep him up most nights.

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach... I'm not much for this side sleeping.

What I am looking forward to: Finishing work this week, then just waiting for the big moment... I can't believe it could be anytime!

Cravings/Aversions: Nothing really, although I did have a funny craving for ham the other day.

Symptoms:  Swollen fingers and feet... and Braxton Hicks contractions.

Best Moment This Week:
Getting the final touches on his room, and spending some quality time with Patrick.

33 Weeks

Size of Baby: According to babycenter.com our little man weighs a little more than 4lbs about the size of a cantaloupe.  He is about 17 inches long... and growing everyday!

Maternity Clothes: Got some pants hemmed this week, just in time for the cold weather.  They are so comfortable... and I love my leggings.

Gender: It's a BOY!

Belly Button In/Out: It is officially out... ugh!

Stretch Marks: None so far... but I feel him stretching me everyday... so not too much longer.

Labor Signs: No, and thankful for it!

Movement: He is moving all the time these days.  You can see it more from the outside which is so odd!

Sleep: Pregnancy induced carpel tunnel got to me this week.  The doctor suggested a brace, and wow what a difference!  I have finally slept well again the last few nights!

What I miss: Being able to go like I want to, without getting tired!

What I am looking forward to: My last baby shower this weekend.  It means he is getting close!

Cravings/Aversions: Craving sweets... which is not exactly an option for me these days.

Symptoms:  My fingers are still swelling... and now my feet and ankles too.  I feel like he has been sitting on my bladder lately... not fun!

Best Moment This Week:
Getting showered with love and wisdom by ladies in our church family.  They are such a blessing

32 weeks

Size of Baby: According to babycenter.com he weighs 3.75 lbs and he is about 16.7 inches long.  He now has toe nails, finger nails, and real hair.

Maternity Clothes: Loving some of my fall maternity clothes that we bought when we first found out we were pregnant.

Gender: It's a BOY!

Belly Button In/Out: Pretty much flat... moving outward quickly...

Stretch Marks: None so far... but I have a feeling they are coming.

Labor Signs: No more braxton hicks this week... praying labor stays away until December.

Movement: He moves all the time. He is getting bigger and more cramped all the time... I don't think he likes being cramped.

Sleep: Trying not to take up the whole bed with all my pillows, sometimes it is just hard to get comfortable.

What I miss: Eating whatever I want... more on that later.

What I am looking forward to: Getting his room all set up... notice the crib is up in the background of the picture!

Cravings/Aversions: I'm pretty boring these days...

Symptoms:  My fingers are still swelling... and now my feet and ankles too.  I feel like he has been sitting on my bladder lately... not fun!

Best Moment This Week:
Getting to visit family out of town.  Also, getting his crib all set up!
